Art. 3.° Para limpiar i canalizar el río Carare desde su desembocadura en el Magdalena hasta el punto que se designe para puerto interior en dicho río, se destinan dos mil pesos del Tesoro nacional, que se pagarán al individuo o Compañía a quien se adjudique el provilegio que se menciona en esta lei; previa la comprobación satisfactoria de que los trabajos verificados hacen navegable, en todo tiempo, aquel trayecto por buques de vapor.
