Al dar inversión a esa suma, el Gobierno preferirá los procedimientos científicos a los medios empíricos usados hasta hoy en la destrucción de la langosta, y podrá contratar el establecimiento, en el Cauca y Antioquia, los laboratorios donde, aplicando sistemas ya experimentados, se provea a la extinción del insecto por el cultivo y programación de los esporos .
