- POSESION. Los Presidentes de los Concejos tomarán posesión ante dichas corporaciones, y los miembros de ellas, secretarios y subalternos, si los hubiere, ante el Presidente; para tal efecto, prestarán juramento en los siguientes términos: "JURO A DIOS Y PROMETO AL PUEBLO, CUMPLIR FIELMENTE LA CONSTITUCION Y LAS LEYES DE COLOMBIA" (Ley 136 de 1994, art. 49).
