Todos los vidrios del vehículo deben ser de seguridad, excepto los espejos y las lámparas. Entiéndase por vidrio de seguridad aquel que al romperse, no produce astillas ni superficies cortantes. El parabrisas delantero debe estar dotado de limpiabrisas automático; sin embargo, los vehículos, cuya velocidad máxima no exceda de veinte kilómetros por hora, pueden estar dotados de limpiabrisas manuales. En todo caso, la superficie abarcada por el limpiabrisas debe ser de dimensiones tales que garantice una buena visibilidad al conductor.
