Tarjeta de operación. Es el documento que acredita los vehículos taxi para prestar el servicio público de transporte bajo la regulación de la autoridad competente, de acuerdo con su respectiva habilitación y en áreas de operación autorizadas. Cuando se trate de áreas metropolitanas, la tarjeta de operación facultará la movilización en todos los municipios que conformen dicho ente territorial, sin sujeción a ninguna otra autorización.
