Cuando los delitos se realicen durante la navegación o en desarrollo de operaciones en áreas inhóspitas o no existiendo juez competente en el lugar de los hechos, el superior al mando podrá únicamente tomar las medidas que sean estrictamente necesarias para evitar la evasión del imputado, mientras pueda ponerlo -a la mayor brevedad posible - a disposición del juez competente.
