NOCIÓN DE DISCIPLINA. La disciplina policial es la subordinación a las normas que consagran los deberes profesionales. Deberá estar acompañada, de cualidades objetivas y subjetivas que contribuyen al honor policial, considerado como patrimonio institucional. La disciplina institucional tiene como fundamento el amor a la patria, el respeto a la Constitución y a las leyes, el cumplimiento de las normas morales y la lealtad al Gobierno y a las instituciones legítimas
