Las entidades encargadas de la vigilancia y control ambiental, tanto a nivel nacional como regional, tendrán la responsabilidad de garantizar el cumplimiento efectivo de las normativas ambientales y de actuar de manera diligente en la detección y sanción de infracciones, velando por la protección de los recursos naturales y el medio ambiente.
