Cuando la evolución de la enfermedad así lo requiera, el médico tratante podrá solicitar el concurso de otros colegas en Junta Médica, con el objeto de discutir el caso del paciente confiado a su asistencia. Los integrantes de la Junta Médica serán escogidos, de común acuerdo, por los responsables del enfermo y el médico tratante.
