Los animales para consumo humano deberán entrar a los mataderos, por lo menos con doce (12) horas de antelación a su sacrificio. Unicamente el Médico Veterinario Inspector podrá, según su criterio, autorizar en casos especiales el sacrificio de uno o varios animales, con un número de horas inferior al señalado para reposo.
