Art. 42. Las materias de enseñanza se dividirán en cursos progresivos, de manera que los niños los recorran gradualmente en el tiempo que dure su aprendizaje, sin que sea permitido hacer alteración en favor de alguno de los niños, ni dar la preferencia a una materia sobre otra, ni entrar en operaciones forzadas para el espíritu y contrarias al desarrollo natural de la razón.
