Art. 141. Cuando el Visitador fuere funcionario de instrucción y hubiere hechos criminosos que comprobar, hará compulsar copia de la diligencia de visita y procederá á la instrucción del sumario hasta perfeccionarlo; y hecho esto dará cumplimiento al deber que le impone el inciso 7° del artículo 137.

Si el visitador no fuere funcionario de instrucción, tomará copia de la diligencia de visita y de todos los documentos que juzgue convenientes, para arreglarla y comprobar los hechos de la mejor manera posible, á fin de cumplir con el deber impuesto en el inciso 7° del artículo citado.
