Art. 9.° La exhibicion de la patente de navegacion a que se refiere el artículo 1.° de la lei 40 de 1879, podrá hacerse al Jefe del Resguardo siempre que se trate de buques de vapor que descarguen en el puerto de Sabanilla. El Jefe del Resguardo anotará dicho acto en la misma dilijencia de la visita de entrada del buque, que se practica a bordo, i devolverá la patente al Capitan sin mas formalidad ni demora.
