El Cuerpo de Guardia Rural además de las funciones inherentes a la

seguridad rural, tendrá también a su cargo la vigilancia necesaria para asegurar el cumplimiento de las disposiciones generales y reglamentarias sobre conservación del caudal de las aguas, su distribución y aprovechamiento; sobre conservación y fomento de la riqueza forestal y estabilidad de los suelos, y sobre todas las disposiciones legales y policivas sobre caza y pesca.
