La Sala de Pintura de la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes se llamará en adelante Sala Ricardo Rendón, y en ella habrá un retrato del maestro para el cual también se abrirá un concurso entre los pintores colombianos, lo mismo que la mayor cantidad posible de obras de Rendón que el Gobierno consiga, por conducto del Ministerio de Educación.
