Los Núcleos Escolares están destinados a la educación de los jóvenes campesinos mayores de 15 años quienes reciben en uno o dos años la educación primaria acelerada y capacitación agropecuaria. Paralelamente al proceso de enseñanza, esta escuelas producen bienes de consumo, que les permite obtener ingresos económicos para financiar parcialmente sus programas.
