El Registro Nacional de Desaparecidos estará dotado de un sistema de seguridad informática para salvaguardar la información contra usos, accesos o modificaciones no autorizados, daños o pérdidas y que garantice la integridad, confiabilidad, confidencialidad, disponibilidad y el cumplimiento de las obligaciones legales del Instituto Nacional de Medicina Legal y Ciencias Forenses, relacionadas con el manejo de la información de personas reportadas como desaparecidas y cadáveres y restos óseos sometidos a necropsia médicolegal, acorde con las especificaciones de los niveles de acceso.
