La visa de servicio se expedirá gratuitamente y su validez estará limitada al término de la misión. Para el personal de servicio de una misión diplomática o consular, de una representación de organismo internacional, de un agente diplomático o consular, o de un funcionario internacional, la validez de la visa de servicio estará limitada por la vigenvia del respectivo contrato de trabajo.
