Dentro del área de jurisdicción de las zonas francas podrán establecerse entidades financieras sujetas a la vigilancia e inspección de la Superintendencia Bancaria. El desarrollo del objeto social de estas entidades financieras en zona franca, se sujetará a las normas generales sobre la materia y a las específicas que establezcan el Gobierno, la Junta Monetaria y dicha Superintendencia.
