º Los miembros del Consejo Nacional Electoral estarán sometidos a la prohibición del ejercicio de toda actividad partidista y de todo cargo público. No podrán ser elegidos para cargos de elección popular durante el período para el cual fueron nombrados, ni dentro del año siguiente, contados a partir del día en que hayan cesado en el ejercicio de sus funciones.
