Los descuentos de que trata el artículo anterior sólo pueden efectuarse en la Declaración correspondiente a la fecha de su causación, o en la de uno de los dos períodos inmediatamente siguientes. El no efectuarlos en una de las oportunidades indicadas, acarrea la pérdida del derecho.
