La entidad deberá prestar los servicios dentro de su distrito sanitario, determinado conforme a las normas vigentes; con todo, si se estima viable y conveniente, podrá prestar los servicios fuera del mismo, con el cumplimiento de los requisitos y procedimientos previstos por sus normas internas.
