ARTICULO 6 º. Del nivel profesional. El nivel profesional agrupa aquellos empleos cuyas funciones demandan la aplicación de los conocimientos de las carreras profesionales reconocidas por la ley, o conocimientos profesionales especializados en materia aduanera, y las demás materias necesarias para garantizar la eficacia de la gestión de la administración aduanera.
