Articulo 118 . Garantías . Para obtener la autorización de tránsito aduanero el declarante deberá constituir garantía bancaria o de compañía de seguros ante el administrador de la aduana y a favor de la Nación, cuya cuantía no podrá ser inferior al monto de los derechos de importación o de exportación eventualmente exigibles, a fin de responder por la ejecución de las obligaciones emanadas de la operación. Para varias operaciones de tránsito aduanero se podrán aceptar garantías globales.
