Transporte multimodal . Hay lugar a transporte multimodal cuando se moviliza una mercancía por dos o más medios de transporte diferentes. Las operaciones aduaneras relativas al transporte multimodal y las referentes a la consolidación de carga deberán realizarse en les lugares habilitados para ello. El Director General de Aduanas determinará las formalidades relativas a la documentación de estas operaciones y los requisitos que deben cumplir los operadores de transporte multimodal.
