Las madres sustitutas, que forman parte de la Modalidad Hogares Sustitutos del Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar, se afiliarán, con su grupo familiar, al Régimen Contributivo del Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud y se harán acreedoras de todas las prestaciones asistenciales y económicas derivadas del sistema de salud. Las Madres sustitutas cotizarán mensualmente como aporte al Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud, en calidad de trabajadores independientes, un valor equivalente al cuatro por ciento (4%) de la suma que reciben mensualmente por concepto de beca del Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar. Dicho aporte se recaudará a través de la Planilla Integrada de Liquidación de Aportes - PILA.
