DIVISION DE MEDICION Y PROYECCIONES MACROECONOMICAS. Es función de la División realizar, bajo la dirección del Jefe de la Unidad de Análisis Macroeconómico, las funciones de ésta en cuanto se relacionan con el comportamiento de la producción, la demanda agregada y la actividad económica general; la estimación y proyecciones del crecimiento del Producto Interno Bruto; los estudios sobre las tendencias del empleo, los salarios y los precios; y la formulación de la programación macroeconómica, con la colaboración de las demás dependencias del Departamento.
