DIVISION DE DESARROLLO TECNOLOGICO. Es función de la División realizar, bajo la dirección del Jefe de la Unidad de Desarrollo industrial y Tecnológico, las funciones de ésta en cuanto se relacionan con el fomento, el diseño y la ejecución de políticas, planes, programas y proyectos para la aplicación del desarrollo científico y tecnológico a las actividades productivas, incluyendo el mejoramiento de los regímenes de propiedad industrial y patentes, la organización institucional y la situación financiera de las entidades oficiales relacionadas con dichas actividades.
