°. Objeto . El Establecimiento Público de Educación Superior Conocimiento e Innovación para la Justicia (CIJ)- tiene por objeto ejecutar, fomentar, articular, apoyar y coordinar las acciones de formación, extensión, capacitación y desarrollo integral, en especial, en el área penal y criminalística, desde el contexto de la investigación y la innovación, dirigida a elevar la calidad y eficiencia del servicio a cargo de la Fiscalía General de la Nación y sus entidades adscritas, así como la formación y capacitación para los demás servidores públicos y particulares que lo requieran, previa autorización que para tal efecto requiera, según las normas legales y los estatutos.
