º Las partes determinarán el número de árbitros, el cual será siempre impar. Si no lo hacen los árbitros serán tres, salvo en las cuestiones de menor o mínima cuantía en cuyo caso el árbitro será uno solo. Si el laudo debe proferirse en derecho, el o los árbitros deben ser abogados. Si el laudo debe proferirse con fundamento en principios técnicos, el o los árbitros deben ser profesionales especializados en la respectiva materia.
