º CONTROL DE LOS LIMITES MAXIMOS ADJUDICABLES. Corresponde al INCORA ejercer un control sobre las áreas máximas, que al tenor de la Ley 135 de 1961, modificada por la Ley 30 de 1988, pueden adjudicarse a una misma persona, a fin de evitar la concentración de la propiedad rural. Antes de aceptar la solicitud deberá verificarse si con el área pretendida en adjudicación el peticionario, socio de sociedades, su cónyuge o sus hijos menores, exceden los límites legales adjudicables, para lo cual el INCORA solicitará al Instituto Geográfico "Agustín Codazzi" una relación de propietarios de inmuebles a nivel nacional.
