El alineamiento de las vías internas respecto a las oficinas, tanques, llenaderos, etc., deberá ser tal que permita fácil acceso y cómoda circulación de los carrotanques y vehículos. Además, deberá disponerse de sitios adecuados para estacionar los vehículos, de modo que no obstaculicen la circulación. Las vías de doble circulación dentro de las plantas, tendrán un ancho mínimo de seis (6) metros.
