º El Alcalde suspendido deberá ser designado por el Presidente de la República, Gobernador, Intendente o Comisario respectivo, en un cargo de igual remuneración, o, en caso de que esto no fuera posible, continuará devengando el salario asignado al cargo de Alcalde, hasta el vencimiento del respectivo período o hasta que se produzca el reintegro, según el caso.
