ASCENSO DE GENERALES Y OFICIALES DE INSIGNIA. Para ascender a los grados de Mayor General o Vicealmirante y General o Almirante, el Gobierno escogerá libremente entre los Brigadieres Generales o Contralmirantes y los Mayores Generales o Vicealmirantes que reúnan las condiciones generales y especificas que este Estatuto determina.
