Es concedida por el Director de la Escuela Militar de Cadetes "General José María Córdova", a los Cadetes de la Escuela que durante los cursos de formación, se destacaren por su excelente rendimiento académico, conducta, iniciativa e interés por el servicio. Su otorgamiento se publicará por la Orden del Día y se impondrá en ceremonia especial, al finalizar el período lectivo de cada promoción.
