Otorgamiento. La Medalla Podrá Otorgarse En Cada Categoría Así:

OTORGAMIENTO. La medalla podrá otorgarse en cada categoría así

HONORARIA. A los expresidentes de la República, a Presidentes o Primeros ministros de otras nacionalidades, a Cardenales Colombianos, a Ministros de Estado, a los Generales o Almirantes de las Fuerzas Militares y a los Embajadores que en cumplimiento de sus funciones hubieren efectuado acciones o actividades en beneficio del Batallón Guardia Presidencial.

MÉRITO MILITAR. De acuerdo con lo establecido en el artículo 71 del presente reglamento
