Legalízase la Medalla "Santa Bárbara" creada en la Escuela de Artillería mediante la Orden del Día número 096 para el 10 de septiembre de 1963 y aprobada por el Comando del Ejército con Oficio número 41 991-CE-El-184 de octubre de 1963, para acrecentar el espíritu de cuerpo, compañerismo, y estimular a quienes hayan prestado eminentes servicios al Arma de Artillería, a juicio del Consejo de la Medalla. Ostenta una sola categoría.
