DIPLOMA. Cada Medalla va acompañada de un diploma credencial firmado por el Comandante de Brigada, Fuerza Naval, Comando Aéreo, Comandante del Cuerpo o Tropa, Buque o Establecimiento Terrestre al cual pertenezca el agraciado. Se elabora en papel cartulina o pergamino blanco de treinta y cinco (35) por veinticinco (25) centímetros de lado, con el Escudo Nacional en colores, en la parte superior, y con la siguiente leyenda: Fuerzas Militares de Colombia (Ejército Nacional, Armada Nacional, o Fuerza Aérea) Medalla Militar "Soldado Juan Bautista Solarte Obando" El Comandante de la... (Brigada, Fuerza Naval o Comando Aéreo). Certifica que: Por Orden del Día Nº...... del....... de.........de....................... Se confiere la presente medalla a: ....................................... Por haberse distinguido como el Mejor Soldado Del..... Contingente del..................................................
