DIPLOMA. El diploma que acredita el otorgamiento de la Medalla de "Servicios Distinguidos en Orden Público" lleva las firmas del Ministro de Defensa Nacional y el Comandante General de las Fuerzas Militares. Debe ser elaborado en papel cartulina o pergamino blancos, de cuarenta (40) por treinta (30) centímetros de lado, con el Escudo Nacional en colores en la parte superior y con la siguiente leyenda: "Medalla Servicios Distinguidos en Orden Público" El Ministro de Defensa Nacional certifica que: Por Decreto número... del... de... el Presidente de la República de Colombia confirió a.............. por actos de valor en el mantenimiento de la tranquilidad pública, la Medalla "Servicios Distinguidos en Orden Público", por ......
