° . Omisión de denuncia o testimonio. El que teniendo conocimiento de la comisión de un delito cuya investigación deba adelantarse de oficio, cometido en la Región de Urabá, no diere cuenta de ello a la autoridad dentro de las veinticuatro (24) horas siguientes al mencionado conocimiento, incurrirá en prisión de cinco (5) a diez (10) años, siempre que el hecho no constituya delito sancionado con pena mayor. La pena prevista en el inciso anterior se reducirá hasta en la mitad (1/2) si el denuncio o noticia se formulare después del término allí mencionado, siempre y cuando se produzca dentro de los cinco (5) días siguientes.
