Los establecimientos educativos de los municipios señalados en los decretos 195 y 223 de 1999, podrán reducir el calendario académico para el año lectivo de 1999 a que se refiere el artículo 86 de la Ley 115 de 1994, siempre y cuando se garantice que el educando alcance los logros establecidos en el plan de estudios del proyecto educativo institucional. Dicha modificación se registrará en la secretaría de educación respectiva, de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el Decreto 1860 de 1994.
