PROYECTO DE SENTENCIA. Vencido el plazo señalado en el Artículo anterior, la comisión presentará su trabajo al Senado para que lo discuta y vote. Si, en concepto del Senado, el proyecto adoleciere de defectos, errores o deficiencias que no fuere posible modificar en la sesión, podrá elegir una nueva comisión a la que se pasará el proceso por un término de tres días, para que elabore el nuevo proyecto de sentencia. Devuelto el expediente por la nueva comisión el Senado considerará el proyecto de sentencia aprobándolo o improbándolo.
