EXCEPCION AL DEBER DE DECLARAR. Nadie podrá ser obligado, en asunto penal o de Policía, a declarar contra sí mismo, contra su cónyuge, compañero o compañera permanente o contra sus parientes dentro del cuarto grado civil de consanguinidad o segundo de afinidad o primero civil. Este derecho se le hará conocer por el funcionario respectivo a todo sindicado que vaya a ser indagado, y a toda persona que vaya a rendir testimonio.
