DEFENSOR PRINCIPAL Y SUPLENTE. Todo procesado tiene derecho a nombrar un defensor principal, y éste a designar un suplente bajo su responsabilidad, quienes se posesionarán inmediatamente y a partir de este momento podrán intervenir dentro del proceso de una manera alternativa, sin ninguna otra formalidad. Cuando una investigaciones tuviere siendo adelantada simultáneamente por varios jueces, el procesado tendrá derecho a nombrar un defensor ante cada uno de los funcionarios. De no hacerlo se le nombrará de oficio.
