COSA JUZGADA. La persona cuya situación procesal haya sido definida por sentencia ejecutoriada o por auto que tenga la misma fuerza vinculante, no será sometida a nuevo proceso por el mismo hecho, aunque a éste se le dé una denominación distinta, excepto lo previsto para el recurso extraordinario de revisión. Tampoco podrá hacerse nuevo juzgamiento en Colombia cuando la sentencia haya sido proferida por juez extranjero, salvo las excepciones legales.
