El Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público examinará la información suministrada por la entidad acreedora y si encuentra que ella es prueba suficiente de la existencia y vencimiento de la deuda, mediante resolución motivada, ordenará realizar las retenciones necesarias sobre el incremento de la participación en el impuesto a las ventas que le corresponda al respectivo municipio o al Distrito Especial de Bogotá.
