A partir del 1º de enero de 1990 suprímense como funciones de las Corporaciones Autónomas Regionales, el ejercicio de las actividades previstas en los literales b), c), d), e), f), g), h), i) y k) del artículo 7º de la Ley 12 de 1986 y la de construcción, ampliación y mantenimiento de acueductos. Corresponderá a los municipios ejercer las anteriores funciones a partir de la fecha señalada.
