En caso de que sea necesario suspender los trabajos de dragado por daño en la unidad, el Ministerio de Higiene podrá dar anticipos en dinero al Ministerio de Obras Públicas, para gastos de reparación, en el caso de que no haya fondos disponibles en la Caja Fluvial de Barranquilla. El dinero que dé el Ministerio de Higiene se contabilizará como avance para las liquidaciones mensuales correspondientes.
