ARTICULO 31 . De la Unidad de Transportes.- Corresponde a la Unidad de Transporte cumplir las siguientes funciones

Supervisar y controlar el personal de conductores y mecánicos y promover su capacitación y entrenamiento;

Organizar, dirigir y controlar el uso del parque automotor, terrestre, fluvial, marítimo y aéreo del Departamento;

Mantener en óptimas condiciones el sistema de transporte individual y colectivo de la Institución y suministrar los respuestos, combustibles y lubricantes que necesite para operar;

Administrar los talleres de mecánica automotriz del Departamento.

Las demás que le sean asignadas acordes con la naturaleza de la Unidad.
