ARTICULO 3 o . Objetivos.- El Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad tendrá como objetivos suministrar a las dependencias oficiales que lo requieran, según la naturaleza de sus funciones, las informaciones relacionadas con la seguridad interior y exterior del Estado y la integridad del régimen constitucional; colaborar en la protección de las personas residentes en Colombia, y prestar a las autoridades los auxilios operativos y técnicos que soliciten con arreglo a la Ley.
